April 22, 2014: Hey, Friends! Wasn’t Easter Sunday just tremendous at our church? We had over 200 people come to Founder’s Center to celebrate the Resurrection, and when the chairs were filled, ushers had to open the bleachers to seat all our people! To begin the festivities lots of newcomers won holiday candies and spring flowers in our raffle. The music was awesome, and we thank the worship team for rehearsing so many hours behind the scenes to provide a joyous song service for us. How many Easter sermons have you attended where the pastor heaved JellyBellies and Peeps into the audience and preached from atop a ladder? Our Pastor definitely colored outside the box, but, at the end, when the altar call was given, twenty people stood up to accept Jesus or to rededicate their lives. TWENTY! If we’d made a difference to just ONE life, Sunday would’ve been a success, but TWENTY! We felt such surges of humility and joy to see person after person coming to the Lord. We wish to acknowledge those dedicated volunteers serving with our children who did not get to participate in the actual service. These good people taughtour youth and kept babies quiet in the nursery so young parents could hear the gospel. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You were out of sight, but not out of mind. We are currently seeking more volunteers to serve in this department, so all of our members can be in church and fellowship with other adults. Mark your connection card in your bulletin if you will take a turn helping. This is the biggest need right now at Revolution. Before you leave our site, please go to the home page and check out our April Revolution Kids Newsletter. Sena and Shey Settles, our favorite twins, celebrated their 12th birthday Saturday. These girls are so good to pull out their construction paper and markers and create fancy cards for special occasions here at Revolution, and we love them bunches! Little Logan Sharpe celebrated an Easter birthday and is proud as punch to be “four fingers” old! Our Ethan Fosen turns 17 on the 23rd, and we hope his day is super fun. Mike Maher (usher and finance team) and Kristen (counseling and youth) celebrate their 14th anniversary Tuesday, and we send congratulations their way. They have worked diligently to make this plant flourish, and we so appreciate their dedication. Cathy Price, say it ain’t so! Our sweet friend accepted a job transfer and is moving to Florida this week. We are cheering for your promotion, but we also wipe a tear to know you are leaving us behind. Thank you for your friendship, your donations, and words of encouragement when we stepped into this adventure. Keep in mind come December about 40 of us just may lease a bus and show up to overwinter with you, so keep the porch light on for us! Living in paradise, you won’t be lonely for long! Remember that next Sunday we will receive Communion. This was a powerful service in March, so make every effort to be present. We will do this the last Sunday of each month. Thank you to all who love us, who pray for our efforts, who support us with gifts of talents and funding. Without each of you rolling up your sleeves, this most precious weekend could not have happened. There is rejoicing in the Heavens that sinners have come “Home”. To God be all the glory! Tammy

April 18, 2014: It’s a lovely winter we’ve been having this spring, but the weather man says it is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend! Bring your relatives and friends to Revolution Church Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. to hear the third message in the “Five Lies of the Devil” series. This week our title is “God is Dead --- Or is He?”, and you KNOW Pastor will put a unique spin on the preaching style. The worship team has worked hard learning new music for the holiday, so don’t you dare sit home and miss out. After service there will be raffle drawings for some super fun holiday surprises, too, and you might just get lucky and take home the grand prize! Our Pastor Billy celebrates his 45th birthday Friday, and one of the nicest things you can do for him is to bring a buddy to church on Easter and let the man sing and minister to a packed house. We have no clue of how many behind the scenes hours he devotes to sermon prep, coffee meetings, prayer, and music rehearsal so that we all can be well-fed, well cared for, and leave the Founders Center with a skip in our step. Pastor Billy, you are a compassionate Shepherd. Unusual…. quirky… unconventional… and you habitually scribble outside the lines…. but you have won our hearts. We thank you for leading us and pray blessings on your special day. Put your boots up, and get some rest! Congratulations to our jolly bass player, Phil Graniczny, and his wife, Leslie, on the birth of their granddaughter, Eleanor “Ellie” Grace, who was born Tuesday weighing in at 7 lb. 13 oz and 20 inches long. If there’s anything the Granicznys love more than BACON, it is their grandbabies, so we clap and cheer with them. Proud parents are Justin and Stephanie. Readers of The Frankfort Station will want to read Pastor Billy’s newspaper column this week about the new Russell Crowe motion picture, “NOAH”. This is a two-parter, so watch your Thursday mail. Speaking of The Station, congratulations are in order to our faithful drummer, Corey Schuldt, who just landed a new position as a photographer with this newspaper and its sister papers in surrounding communities. His first assignment is to cover “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” which will be a hoot. Have a blessed Good Friday, and we look forward to worshipping with you Sunday! Tammy

April 15, 2014: Hi, Folks! Are any of the rest of you still grinning following Sunday’s service? I know I am. How fun was THAT? We finished our second message in the sermon series “Five Lies of the Devil”, and learned how to handle Judgment and Accusation this week. If you want to listen again, just click on the WATCH tab on our home page. Journey fans (and who ISN’T?) were treated to ‘Don’t Stop Believing”, and with cellphones held high and arms waving, we rewound to 1981 and sang together concert style. After service so many first time visitors who don’t have a home church were overheard remarking how much they loved the music and the laid back atmosphere of Revolution Church. With huge smiles, they promised to return. People, we are obviously doing something right, and God is blessing our efforts with steady attendance and more folks showing up asking to be put to work. We LOVE our volunteers, and welcome all who will roll up their sleeves and jump in the trenches with us. Drop us a note on your connection card from your bulletin if you are willing to help do some of the work that is necessary to keep this church plant thriving. Don't be bashful. We need YOU! Happy 18th Birthday on the 14th to our favorite little songbird, Noel Knott! When you see her out and about be sure and give her a hug and a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Congratulations to two of our tech team “brainiacs”, Darren Rych and Nylls Hanson, on landing new jobs. Darren, a.k.a. “The Computer/Projector Guy” begins Tuesday as an IT Operations Engineer at a location just minutes from home. He will manage and perform technical duties relating to network and server operations as well as provide some end-user support. Nylls, a.k.a “The Camera Guy”, recently landed a fantastic Systems Analyst position and a big fat raise. We are so proud of these men, and thankful God has opened doors and is blessing them. Ladies, “What Happens When Women Say Yes To God” study begins April 24th, and we are hoping to see many of you there. Go to our home page and click on the women’s Bible study box for more information. This is a great way to get out and make new friends if you are new to this congregation. Have a great week, and make plans NOW to join us for Easter Celebration Service next Sunday. Until then, carry on and DON’T STOP BELIEVIN’ ! Tammy

Sunday we honored the passing of our friend, Ron Hajek, by inviting his wife, Brenda, her sister, and granddaughter on the stage at the end of the service while Pastor Billy shared good words about him. Brenda was presented with a large gift basket compiled by many members of Revolution Church. Following is a letter Brenda wishes to share: My first Sunday back to Revolution was an incredible blessing. My heart swelled at the outpouring of love from my church family. The tribute to Ronnie Joe was so heartwarming. I was equally touched by the magnificent basket filled with so many generous gifts from so many friends. But my gratitude goes far beyond my beautiful basket. The prayer and support I have received from everyone is priceless. I love and appreciate you all more than I can ever express. Love, Your Sister,Brenda Hajek If you would like to see Ron's time of remembrance, click on this week's sermon under WATCH on our home page.

April 6, 2014: Dunno what other churches in the Lincoln-Way area had in their services this morning, but I’ll tell you what WE had at Revolution Church ….. We had FUN, FUN, and more FUN! Pastor Billy began his new series, “Five Lies of the Devil”, and the worship team kicked off the first message with a rousing favorite from Charlie Daniels Band, “Devil Went Down to Georgia”! Yeeeee-Haw! Ain’t God good? While Pastor preached about temptation, varieties of cheesecake bites were passed down the rows for sampling. Nothing wrong with having a little fun in the Lord’s house on the Lord’s day. Nobody can EVER accuse us of being boring! Besides grand opening Sunday, today marked our highest attendance, and we had to bring in extra chairs to seat all the people. We are so excited that word of our church is spreading throughout the community, and folks are showing up to worship. We invite YOU to join us every Sunday at 10 a.m. Come early, grab some coffee, and come see what the excitement is all about. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, there will be a warm welcome for you here. Yesterday we said our goodbyes to our friend, Ronnie Hajek. His memorial service and luncheon were well attended, and we appreciate how many of you stepped up to support his family with food, calls and visits. We ask for prayers and extra TLC for the Dan Signore family as he lost his mother, Donna, to cancer this week. We want to be known as a church that cares for each member when they hurt. Happy Anniversary wishes going out to Pastor Billy and Penny this week. Next time you see Jordan Knott, give her a big hug and wish her a Happy Birthday since she celebrates her Sweet 16th Thursday! Oh, how we adore this girl! It was a happy surprise to look up and see our own Lori Upchurch sitting in the congregation with her family this morning. She’s been laid up for weeks following spinal surgery, and today was the first day she was able to venture out and join us since Revolution opened. Welcome, friend! You are over the hump. Life Groups (a.k.a. Small Groups) are being formed, so if you would like to learn how to be included, get in touch with Denny at Denny@therevolutionchurch.org. Remember we are always seeking volunteers to help with our children, chair set up/tear down, and cooking ministry. Mark your connection card in your bulletin, and we will help you find your place to serve. Thank you to all the good people who continue to roll up their sleeves each week and “Git R Done” so this church can continue to grow and thrive. Already looking forward to next Sunday, Tammy

March 31, 2014: It is with a heavy heart Revolution Church announces the passing of one of our beloved members and greeters, Mr. Ron Hajek. Ron was a godly man who frequently opened his home for small group Bible studies, meetings, or fellowship around his supper table with God’s people. We will surely miss him. If you would like to celebrate his life and give condolences to Brenda and his family, his memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014, 2 pm, at Gerardi Funeral Home in Frankfort. This is on Rt. 30 across the street from the Walgreens/Marianos corner. There will be a time for brief, personal memories if you’d like to share how knowing Ron made your life sweeter. Sunday was our first Communion at church, and it was done a bit different than most of us have seen. Communion by Intinction is dipping the bread into a common cup of juice or wine before consumption. After a time of quiet prayer and asking forgiveness of sins each person or family was asked to come up when they were ready and partake. Gluten-free wafers were also provided. It was a powerful and moving time in the service. We will serve Communion in this manner on the last Sunday of each month, and we welcome you to join us. Special appreciation to Lori Upchurch’s mama, Sharon Snow, visiting from Knox, Indiana who blessed us by baking all the loaves. Gorgeous little flower-haired Madison Sharpe celebrates her first birthday this week! Also, we send out Happy Birthday wishes to our buddy, Mike Rowley, on the 3rd. Pat and Tom Wozny, oh, how we love you! For all your skills, advice and contributions you have extended to this infant church, we thank you. Your acts of generosity are being recorded in Heaven, and when you finally make it there, your rewards will be many. People, please check out our WISH LIST on the Home Page. You, too, can bless us by helping us get the supplies we need so this ministry can flourish. Folks who love the Doobie Brothers were treated to a surprise from our music team last week, and this Sunday Charlie Daniels fans will NOT want to miss. Pastor Billy begins his new message series “FIVE LIES OF THE DEVIL”, and it will be FUN while helping us become better Christians. Come worship with us Sunday at 10. We are a good group of people, and we will make room for you no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done. Life can be tough, and we all need a place to be cared for and to belong. Try us! Tammy

March 26, 2014: The following letter was received from our Lori who is home recuperating from extensive spinal surgery: Dear Church Family, Sending a HUGE THANK YOU for all the prayers, well wishes, hospital visits, flowers and meals. Everyone has been so wonderful. I am truly blessed to have you all in my life. It is very heartwarming to know so many truly care. Hugs,Lori Upchurch & Family Applause to the FISHES & LOAVES crew who has been cooking and delivering suppers to three of our families who are struggling with serious medical issues. The meal on one dad's table looked so delicious he announced that "FOOD CLAUS" had visited! Shomari Fischer is doing a fantastic job leading this ministry, and she will be pleased to teach you how to serve with this team. Write her at Shomari@therevolutionchurch.org for more info. Happy Birthday wishes are going out to our Marlo Siegers this week! See you Sunday.....Tammy

March 24, 2014: HOLY SMOKE! Aren’t you happy you worshipped at Revolution Church Sunday? We had even MORE people than the week before as word spread throughout our community that we are HERE. We might be the “new kid on the block”, but we are making friends fast and being received very well. We seem to have figured out the acoustics in the gym and have gotten lots of feedback telling us it is sounding really great now. It’s all coming together very nicely, and there is no demand for earplugs any more. YAY! Madison Joy Sharpe was bestowed with the honor of being the FIRST baby dedicated at Revolution. We were all thrown back to 1988 when the band broke into “Sweet Child o’ Mine” from Guns N’ Roses prior to her blessing. While Pastor Billy didn’t wear his hair to his hips or a Slash top hat, he still TORE UP those guitar riffs and ROCKED God’s House! It’s Monday afternoon, and people are still talking about it! Congratulations to “M..J.’s“ parents, Matt and Becky, and to the rest of her family who drove all the way from Iowa for this unconventional service. We have another child dedication already in the works, so speak up now if you’d like your child to be included in the next one. We are aware that many of our visitors read this newsletter, so to all of you who slipped out after service before we could give you a proper goodbye, we thank you for coming to see what we are all about. We pray that you felt the Spirit of the Lord come down in our Praise and Worship and also in Pastor Billy’s message about trusting God to get you where you are going. We noticed several of you from various 12-step programs, and we throw wide our doors and say, “WELCOME”! Your transparency was refreshing, and you will not be shamed for these areas of human weakness while you work on getting well. You might be very surprised to know that several of us have been in (or are currently in) self-help groups just like you are. We all live in glass houses and nobody has clean windows. Come without fear. You will not be rejected. Next Sunday is our first Communion service, so plan to bring your friends and celebrate Jesus with us. Come just as you are! Coffee, light refreshments, and free hugs will be provided. See you soon! Tammy

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March 20, 2014: Welcome, Friends! Our third Sunday was such a fun service, and we had excellent attendance again! It was so exciting to look out and see brand new faces smiling back. Many say they learned of Revolution from our mass mailing campaign last month. That was certainly money well spent. If you have never heard of “The Hillbilly Ten Commandments”, click on the WATCH button on this website and see the sermon you just missed. I think we did as much laughing as we did learning, and THAT is what makes our church FUN. Each week our youth attendance has risen, and we are asking more of you to step up and volunteer now and again to help serve in this area. It is not difficult. If you like to color, sing, burp babies, or help little ones learn more about Jesus, this might be an excellent fit for you. Also, our cooking team, “Fishes and Loaves”, can use a couple more volunteers to make a meal for our church people who are sick or have brought home a new baby. Our ladies have already served two families this week, and three more are scheduled for next week. You don’t have to be a Paula Deen or a Rachel Ray…. Just pull on your apron and bless a family with a simple supper. That's it. If you want to learn more about how you can be useful in these areas, jot us a note on the connection card from your bulletin and drop it in the offering, and we will be in touch. Huge thanks goes out to a loving local church who graciously provided the plexiglass drum shield for our worship band. This greatly helps the sound quality for what you in the audience hear rolling off that stage. It honors God when churches pool resources and help each other. There are most definitely enough sinners in the Lincoln-Way area for every church to be busting at the seams without worrying about “competition” from Revolution opening its doors. We are all batting for “Team Jesus” anyway. Pastor Billy’s column is on page 22 in the Frankfort Station newspaper this week, so no fair birdcage lining til you’ve pulled out and read what he had on his mind. Notice that our church activities are now listed prominently in the community section below that. Remember to check out our Wish List and Prayer Request Pages. There are numerous needs among us, so read and become aware of the needs inside these church walls. Child dedications will be this Sunday, so e-mail Pastor Billy NOW if you want your family included in this very special ceremony. (Not to spoil the surprise for anybody, but Guns N' Roses fans will grin big at this service!) We can never tell you enough how much we thank you for your tithes, offerings, encouraging words, and muscles while setting up and tearing down our portable church every weekend. It is hard work, but it is worth it all! Pass the word, bring a neighbor, and let’s fill up the Founders Center again. As we learned from preaching last week, Commandments #4 and #5 say “ Ain’t nothing come before the Lord…..so git yer hide ta Sunday meetin’!” Tammy

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March 15, 2014:Hello again! Pull up a seat and let me catch you up on this week's progress. Pastor Billy will have another column coming out in the Frankfort Station newspaper this Thursday, so watch for that. Our church listing on the religious page beside his article been updated to show more of the good stuff Revolution offers. We continue our sermon series , "TRUST ISSUES" through the end of the month, and you don't wanna miss that. How do you like that fancy pants new screen? That looked REALLY great last Sunday. See where your contributions are going? That stage is looking better each week. Friends, it's all coming together, and it wouldn't be possible without YOUR support. Lori Upchurch is home after major spinal surgery, and is now able to use a walker and enjoy a bit of mobility while she begins her lengthy recuperation. We look forward to the Sunday she can finally join us in person. Remember if you, too, are unable to come to Founders Center you can always view the preaching service by clicking on the WATCH option. We thank Darren Rych and his gigantic brain for helping us get these sermons online in a timely fashion. Our most exciting update is that our youth ministry is up and running. YAY! If you go back to the Home Page and click on MINISTRIES, and then click on IGNITE, you can get the scoop on this weekly gathering for our 7th-12th graders. Tyler Yost and Britta Hanson's bios appear on the LEADERS page, so click their pictures to read about them or contact them. These two are proof that enthusiasm is contagious. Britta designed the logo, and we love it! Here is the update we just received from her: This last Wednesday we gathered for our very first youth group representing Revolution Church. The Ignite Student Ministry team had a blast hanging out and getting to know the students. We took part in a time of fellowship and games (including pool and ping-pong), as well as enjoying some delicious pizza together. Next, Tyler and Britta explained our vision for the ministry and worshipped campfire style, all before sharing our own personal testimonies to the students. To wrap up, everyone participated in an interactive game of "Catchphrase" and shared some laughs. Our Ministry team truly cares about each individual student and would love to grow in spiritual relationship with them! We encourage them to bring friends and ask us questions--that's what we're here for! Some things to expect this upcoming Wednesday, March 19th, include more fellowship, games, worship, testimony and even a sweet treat (woo-hoo ice cream sundaes!). We're currently planning a youth outing for April; details for that will come along in our weekly emails and students will have information available to them on Wednesdays. How fun! We love our Revolution kids, and encourage yours to come join the group! Volunteers are still needed to help with our youngest children, so email Penny@therevolutionchurch.org to take a turn and give our young mamas an opportunity to enjoy worship and preaching, too. Much appreciation to all who are shouldering responsibilities to enable this church plant to sprout and thrive. To those who roll out of bed early and to those who work into the wee hours, may God dump blessings on you for caring enough to make a difference in this community. See you Sunday. Come early to get a good seat up front! Tammy

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March 11, 2014:Hi, folks! I see you have returned to once again read our updates. Welcome! Sunday was another good day as we saw many new people walking through our doors to check out Revolution Church. We had even MORE children this week than last which made us grin real big. Our only bummer was after some of you went home, we discovered we had no contact information from you. As good old Charlie Brown would say, “AAAAAARRRGGGG!” Starting right now we ask all visitors to fill out the “connection card” inside your bulletin and drop it in the offering basket so that we may follow up and extend a proper welcome and best serve you. We are very happy you came and hope to see you back next week, too. Humongous thanks to all the hard-working people who push up their sleeves and do what it takes to give us a comfortable place to worship each week. While many of you are still snoozing under your fuzzy blankets, members of Revolution are at Founders Center hours early climbing ladders, unloading trailers, brewing coffee and tuning instruments. These people do unbelievable amounts of behind the scenes work each week, and we love them tremendously for their efforts. We are still looking for a couple more helpers to work in the children’s department once a month or so. If you would like to be a blessing to this church, this is the area where we can most use volunteers. If everybody does a little, nobody has to do a lot. Think about it, and get in touch if you are willing to lend a hand. Even setting up tables and stacking chairs in this area would help us. Easy! March 16 is our very FIRST water baptism service. If you would like to be immersed (also known as DUNKED), talk to Pastor Billy before Sunday. March 23 is our FIRST child dedication service. If you would like your children to participate, call Pastor to have them included. There are boxes on the Home Page to click and read about each of these services. We had some hospitalizations this week, and are so thankful our Lori and our Mishel are both back at home recuperating. We appreciate all of you who stepped up and called, visited, and were sensitive to the needs of folks in this congregation when the proverbial rug was jerked out from under them. It is comforting when you feel scared to look up and realize you have people who have your back. Click on our prayer page to see the needs of our members. Let us know how we can pray for you and give you support, too. Calling all Shopaholics! Check the Wish List again. Even though we are open for church, we still have a few items that remain on that list that would be very helpful to us. Happy Birthday across the miles to our friend, “G. L.” , one of our quiet supporters, who has given us wise advice and never wants recognition. You are truly a good soul, and the Lord will bless you for all you do behind the scenes to nurture this infant ministry and for churches yet to be birthed. Also, birthday love goes out on Tuesday to our favorite “Cajun Queen”, Allison Miller, who volunteers with our children. Previous “What’s Happening” columns are now found under the ARCHIVES button at the top of this page, so if you missed some news, you can pull it up from here. See you at 10:00 Sunday. Bring a friend! Tammy

March 3, 2014:Wow… OH, WOW! Yesterday REVOLUTION CHURCH opened its doors to 163 worshippers who braved the wind and snow to kick off our FIRST service. 163….. How exciting is THAT? I think we should all clap and cheer now! There were many new faces who were there because of the postcards that arrived at the 11th hour in Saturday’s mail. Whew! That was CLOSE, but 38,000 households received our info and invites on time. We look forward to getting to know our visitors better and helping them find where they best fit. There’s always room for one more friend in our church, so come check us out again next Sunday. All you musicians and singers out there know how tough it is to keep music shut up in your bones when it is itching to come out. Our team was so happy to be back on stage together after weeks of thumb twiddling. We hope you were blessed with our praise and worship service. Our set this week was: My Redeemer Lives (R.E.S.P.E.C.T version) + I’ll Fly Away + Your Love Never Fails + One Thing Remains + + How Great Is Our God + How Great Thou Art and U2’s Where The Streets Have No Name. Thank you for your patience while we mix sound and tweak volume as we acclimate to our new facility. It will probably take us a couple of services to get it where it is most pleasing in that large room, so sit tight and don’t get your knickers in a twist just yet. We’re working on it! Hospitality Team members were good to provide us with sweet treats and hot drinks. These ladies worked hard to lay out a welcoming spread, and in the middle of this ridiculously busy week, they still found time to bake goodies. Rich and Chris Portwood, that was one very cool Revolution cake you brought to commemorate our special day! Children’s Ministry got off to a running start with lots of excited kids showing up to sing and learn more about Jesus. This department is still looking for a few more dependable volunteers, so if you are a good baby rocker or find joy in the company of little people, this might be the perfect place for you to serve in this church. If you’d like to volunteer with this fun crew, write to Penny@therevolutionchurch.org for more info. We give honor and recognition to our “Our Fearless Leader”, Pastor Billy Knott, for persevering in the face of unbelievable odds. His organizational skills, street smarts, and untold hours of sweat and determination to successfully launch this ministry for the LAST, the LOST, and the LEAST make us proud to call him our shepherd. For many of us, he has stepped to the plate in our times of grief, need, or trouble, and has proven without a doubt that he has a compassionate heart and will defend his sheep. We are so thankful to work under his leadership. It was remarkable to look around Sunday morning and watch teams of people efficiently doing their jobs. Even in this messy, treacherous weather, we all arrived promptly and with happy hearts. Those people working in chair crew, security, prayer tent, greeting, ushering, video, set-up/ tear down, shuttling, sign ministry, trailering, t-shirt sales, technology, and clean-up made it all look easy. Just six weeks ago there was NO CHURCH. Sunday, in unity and love, our little motley crew operated like a well-oiled machine. That is remarkable! Thank You, God, for making a way where there seemed to be no way. Thank you for bringing us people who so freely shared their talents, encouragement and financial support. We are proof that God doesn’t always call the qualified, but He always qualifies the called. Congratulations, folks. You have planted a church! Revolution is one day old, and we already have our first birth announcement to share: Congratulations to Matthew and Sarah on the birth of their princess, MACKENZIE RYANN SCHWERTFEGER, born Saturday 3-1-14. She is 21 ½ inches and weighs in at 8 lbs. 1 oz. Mackenzie is the niece of proud Aunt Bree Drotts, one of our greeters. Happy Birthday wishes are going out on the 4th to Elizabeth Stec who follows our progress online. Lori Upchurch celebrates her birthday March 5. We hope both of these women have great weeks. If you’d like your name included on our birthday list, just shoot me an email. Baby Dedication will be March 23. If you would like your child dedicated, contact Pastor Billy. Go to Home Page and click on the Baby Dedication box to learn more about this special service. Our first Baptizing service will be March 16, and we invite you to go to Home Page and click on the baptism box to learn what Revolution teaches about this act. If you would like to be baptized or just have questions, contact Pastor Billy right away. As always, check out our prayer page and Wish List as it changes every few days. Thanks for stopping at our website. Thank you for every act of kindness and support that made this blessed launch day possible. YOU ARE LOVED AND APPRECIATED! We will see you NEXT SUNDAY 10 a.m. at the Founders Center. Until then, may God smile down on you and bless you for your faithfulness to our mission. Tammy

February 28, 2014:YOU SAY YOU WANT A REVOLUTION? What a crazy, hectic weekend! Revolution Church opens in just TWO DAYS, and it's crunch time with all hands on deck. Like Santa Claus, Pastor Billy is makin' a list and checkin’ it twice to be sure Sunday's service launches with a BANG. We are so excited that you have returned to read our newsletter. WELCOME! Last night while some ladies from church had a prayer meeting, the worship team rehearsed for over three hours, and, boy, is it sounding good! Thanks, Bruce Smit, for letting your office be turned upside down to accommodate all of us and our gear. I GUARANTEE there will be no church in the Midwest that will have the same praise and worship line-up as we will have this weekend. This week we are offering a little bit of country "twang", some traditional gospel, some rock-and-roll, and for all ARETHA fans out there, Noel Knott has a treat for youuuuuuu. Crabby-Apples might raise their eyebrows, but we do ALL to honor the Lord and lift high His name in His House. Why don’t you take a break from this dreary winter weather and come celebrate Jesus with us on this historic FIRST service? Did you see page 20 in our local Frankfort Station newspaper yesterday? Pastor Billy’s first column, “The Masquerade” was published along with the inclusion of our church in the religious community listings. YAY! We are grinning so big! Columns will appear once or twice a month, but the church listing appears weekly. Watch this spot in the paper every Thursday for our special events and sermon series topics. Through March, “TRUST ISSUES” is the series. Who remembers the “Unknown Comic” from “The Gong Show” back in the 70s? That goofball would come out telling corny jokes with a paper bag over his head so nobody would know his identity. Well, the good news is that Revolution Church had two guys who anonymously forked over funds this week to help pay for last-minute items we needed. My membership card will be stomped and shredded if I type their names, so I won’t, but if you see two squirrely people sitting in the congregation sporting paper bags over their heads, it’d be safe to guess it is THEM. THANK YOU, GUYS, and thank you to every person who shared time, talents and resources to carry us this far. If I’ve missed anybody, please forgive, let me know, and it will be remedied right away. There are new items listed on our WISH LIST on the HOME PAGE. Your prayer requests and updates are found at the PRAYER box on the Home Page. Several of the leaders are being buried under avalanches of texts, voice mails, and emails regarding this new endeavor. May we please direct you to visit our webpage and click on the appropriate tabs FIRST. We have worked hard to be thorough and clear, and if you will read these pages, many of your answers will be found there. Please scroll back and read previous What’s Happening columns to catch up on news you might have missed. Of course, if you don’t see your answer, we absolutely want you to get in touch. Keep in mind, that most of us fielding your correspondence work paying jobs, and will not be able to respond immediately. Be patient, remember we love your enthusiasm, and know that one of us WILL get back with you as soon as we can come up for air. Thanks to all from the core group who distributed invite cards and hung posters promoting Sunday. One employee from Starbucks said a zealous man had come in to post and was saying that our launch was “IMMINENT”! (Guesss Whoooooooo? Correct! We love you, Tom.) Pastor Billy flooded the area with 38,000 high-quality Revolution cards, and yours should be in today’s mail. Pray this campaign will be successful and bring in many new folks who need to be embraced in a loving church family. Remember, it is all about reaching the LAST, the LOST , and the LEAST. Cathy Price, how we adore you! Happy Birthday on the 3rd! Darren “MacGyver” Rych, Revolution’s computer genius, also celebrates his birthday March 3rd. We should all surprise him and show up at his house for a BYTE of cake. Sending special greetings to our favorite cowgirl, Lisa Rizzo, down in sunny AZ who would be helping launch this church if only she were not so far away. We love and miss you, Lisa. Watch our weekly sermons online, and perhaps you will not feel so far away. Church starts at 10 a.m. Sunday, but come early and enjoy coffee and a baked treat compliments of our Hospitality Team. Remember that REVOLUTION T-SHIRTS will be sold for $12. MANY families worked their behinds off preparing for this service, so don’t you DARE let a little snow keep you home! Don’t make us come hunt you down. We have skin in this game, and we WILL do it! Seeing the finish line, Tammy
