Hello, folks!  It was fun seeing so many in their red, white, and blue apparel again this morning to wrap up the July 4th holiday week.  Thanks to Tammy Smit for the patriotic cupcakes! Here’s the church news for this week:

Our songs today were: “Hello My Name Is”, “Grace Greater Than All Our Sin”, “Let The Praises Ring”, and “Voice of Truth”.  The message, “Identity Thief”, was delivered by Pastor Larry using text from Galatians 2:20. This was his first message after being ordained into the ministry, and we are so proud of him! (You can watch this and past messages by going to the home page and clicking WATCH.)

Thanks to all who donated items for the community food pantry collection this morning. Good job, everybody!

Sunday evening free college level psychology class is at the church at 6:30 pm.  Pastor Billy teaches this, and it is free. Come out and learn!

We are in need of a Greeter to replace Charlie Printy while he is recuperating from health issues.  If you can smile and hand people a bulletin, then you are qualified for this position! Mark your Connection Card

We are updating the church photo directory!  If you were not included in the last one or have changes to your contact information, mark your connection card or speak to Pastor Larry and Eileen DeSando right away.

Are you attending the Summer Connection Meal July 12, 6 pm at the DeSando home in Frankfort?  Today is the last day to sign up to reserve a seat and indicate what dish you will bring to share.  Supervised children are welcome. Be courteous to our hosts and let them know if you are coming!

Pastor Billy’s Bible study is Tuesday at 6:30 pm on his Face Book page. He began the new Joshua study last week!  If you cannot access Face Book, go to Pastor Shred on You Tube live videos and watch past studies from there. If you make an account there, you will be able to make live comments during the show.

Small Group meets at Brenda Hajek’s home in New Lenox 6:30 pm this Thursday.  Everybody is welcome to study and share snacks.

Men’s Donuts and Devotional is Saturday at the church at 8 a.m.  Let Pastor Bob know if you are coming as he needs to purchase enough donuts.

Happy birthday to Avery Hippenhammer and Tech Girl Samantha Getty!  There are also several birthday cards on the Graybars Project table ready for signatures and your encouraging words to the people in custody.

Autumn’s missing turquoise ring stone has been found thanks to Peggy Walley-Rock.  Now George Carroll is missing his turquoise from his bracelet.  Please keep your eyes open, and let’s help George find it.

Darla Carroll has made the most colorful bookmarks and wants you to have one! Check them out on the Connection Table next week! They are free! Thank you, Darla!

Ladies, if you haven’t peeked at the refreshed women’s restroom, please go look!  Marnie Carlson has outdone herself redecorating it.  There is a lovely inscription from her to the women in the Bible on the new table in there.   What a beautiful gift from a beautiful soul!

Thank you for joining us, and thank you for all you do to support this ministry! We hope to see everybody back again next Sunday at 10 a.m. Have a blessed week!
