Well, hello again family and friends! Let’s talk about what’s happening around here this Communion Sunday. The Knotts are still enjoying vacation this week, so you saw different faces on the stage.

Today’s songs were “King of Kings”, “Reckless Love”, ”Here In Your Presence”, “Jesus at the Center” and “Our Father”. Thank you to Timmy Ziga Jr, Val Fox, and her daughter Sierra for leading the music in Pastor Billy’s absence.

Guest speaker, Pastor Julian Sandoval delivered a message, “From Slavery to Sonship” with text from Genesis 15:13-14 and Exodus 14. It was great having Miriam and Elena back with us, too! Monthly prayer meeting was held after church for those who wished to stay. (You can watch this and past messages by going to the home page and clicking WATCH.)

Did you shop the Harvest Table this morning? What a blessing! Thank you to the gardeners who shared the cucumbers and tomatoes. Leave what you have and take what you need!

Labor Day Party is at the Round Barn in Manhattan on Sunday, September 4, 3-8:30 pm.  There will be fireworks, food, and fun! We still need volunteers to sign up to tear down our information booth afterwards. WE NEED MORE Mini Tootsie Rolls, Jolly Ranchers, Tootsie Pops, fun size and regular size candy bars left in the candy collection tub beside the camera table. Thank you to those who have already given.

There will be a brief meeting after service next Sunday for those who will be handing out tracts at the Round Barn party.  Pastor Bob has 1,500 and will give pointers for most effectively evangelizing the crowd.

Deacon Gene O’Brien is leading the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes project through Samaritan’s Purse.  A sign-up sheet is on the Connection Table if you would like to volunteer to pack and if you want to get a pre-printed box. More details to come.

Revolution Church T-shirts are for sale for $10 at the back of the church again for a limited time.  Get one to wear to Round Barn festivities if you don’t already have one.  We have shirts for men, women and children in many sizes. Debby Giera can take your money plus answer any questions. The supply is limited, so think ahead for Christmas gifts, too, before they are sold out.

Have you stopped by the Graybars Project prison outreach table recently?  There are lots of birthday cards for our inmates that could benefit from a kind word, a scripture, or simply your signature. Just being remembered means a lot to the incarcerated men and women.  Some have family who attend this church.

Ladies and Gentlemen it’s time for your monthly gathering for devotionals, donuts, and prayer.  Women meet at Penny Knott’s Manhattan home, and men meet at the church at 8 a.m. on Saturday September 10.  Please be courteous and sign up if attending.  Free!

Happy 40th Birthday to Jessica Ward on the 23rd!  Our “T-shirt Lady”, Debby Giera, celebrates on Sept. 2! Happy Birthday to Keaghan Graniczny and Marnie Carlson as both celebrate on Sept.3rd!
