Hello again!  Thank you for stopping here to catch up on what’s happening with the Revolution Church family here on Communion Sunday! For the first time since Covid concerns forced us to use individually wrapped elements, we returned to our usual and preferred method of intinction for the Lord’s Supper.

We appreciate all who braved the monsoon tornadic weather this weekend to make time for worship together.  Today’s songs were “I’ll Fly Away”, “Open Up the Heavens”, “Jesus Messiah”, “We Fall Down”, and “Into My Heart”.  Pastor Billy continued the “To Bee or Not to Bee” series with a message called “Be Aloe”, a sermon about being useful.  Text was Ephesians 4:27-32 and Proverbs 16:23-24. June prayer meeting was held after service for those who wished to stay. Go to the main menu and click WATCH late Sunday evening to view today’s preaching and past messages.

Our church has a need, and YOU can help fill it!  Summer volunteers are STILL  NEEDED to help once a month in kids’ ministry to give our regular volunteers a bit of a break so they can sit in on preaching services, too.  That’s fair and reasonable to ask. If you are willing to be like aloe and be useful, mark your connection card or sign up at the Connection Table.

Next Adult Connection is at Phil and Michelle Grifford’s Manhattan home for a potluck meal and (optional) pool party on Saturday, July 10, 1 pm. Sign up at the Connection Table to be included and to bring a side dish!

June 20, 2021:

Hello again, friends!  Thank you for stopping here to catch up on what’s happening with the Revolution Church family here on Father’s Day 2021! Today we remember and celebrate dads, granddads, foster dads and men who are “like a dad” to us.  Some are still living, and some wait for us in Heaven.

Before service there were photo ops with a decorated 1930 Model A pickup truck and a 1930 Ford Tudor.  After service there were free rides for the adventuresome among us.  Thanks to Rich Benco and Bruce Smit for providing the cool vehicles today! That magnificent Harley on the stage was provided by greeter, Larry Dedman, and Pastor was seen roaring off around the building on it after service. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Penny Knott and Sandy Chambers were gracious to bring treat bags and Pop Rocks to share with our men this morning! Thank you, ladies!

As is our holiday tradition, we started the morning with “Born to Be Wild” just for fun for all the men in the crowd. Today’s worship songs were “Big House”, “Good Good Father”, and “Battle Belongs”.  Pastor Billy continued the “To Bee or Not to Bee” series with a message called “Be Unshakable”. Text was Luke 15, the story of the Prodigal Son. Go to the main menu and click WATCH late Sunday evening to view today’s preaching and past messages.
